Philippine Development Foundation

Philippine Development Foundation, "PhilDev", is a strategic philanthropy group devoted to accelerating the economic growth of the Philippines and thus improving the welfare of Filipinos.  Our strategy for growth is through science and technology innovation.  We believe that it is through innovation and entrepreneurship that the country can build businesses that access the global economy and accelerate the country's growth.  We develop and support programs in three major and secondary education, research and development as well as entrepreneurship.

PhilDev will direct a substantial amount of the funds it raises in  support of strengthening the education and training programs for the youth in science and engineering; producing a higher ratio of qualified science and engineering experts and practitioners among the population; fostering innovation by directing research toward the development of viable products and business that can compete in the global markets; supporting training and networking programs to encourage more entrepreneurship, company, and job creation; helping build an entrepreneurial  ecosystem in the Philippines for global business readiness; supporting the credible measurement of our global competitive indices; and establishing the global network of relationships to create and sustain innovation and entrepreneurship in the Philippines.
